5 Must-Have Diaper Bag Items

The diaper bag. It's a must-have item on every expectant Momma's registry. We fill it with toys, bottles, diapers (of course), wipes, and a spare change of clothes. We haul it to restaurants, stores, playdates, and everywhere in between. We don't leave home without it. And if we do, we definitely turn around to get it!
After sporting a diaper bag for nearly four years, these are the 5 items I consider diaper bag essentials.
1) Aquaphor Baby Healing Ointment
I've tried several diaper rash ointments, and Aquaphor is definitely my hands-down favorite. It's super thick consistency heals rashes very quickly, and I even keep an extra on hand during the Winter months for chapped or dry skin.
2) Boogie Wipes Soft Natural Saline Wet Tissues for Baby and Kids
A friend gifted me a set of these amazing saline-soaked wipes when I was expecting my eldest son. They definitely live up to their name, and I've used them countless times to wipe a snot filled nose or sticky, messy hands.
3) Munchkin Arm and Hammer Disposable Changing Pad
You know that small, trifold, changing pad that comes included in all diaper bags? Yeah, it doesn't always cut it in terms of coverage when you're changing a blow out in the middle of dinner at The Olive Garden. I always keep 1 or 2 of these disposable changing pads in my diaper bag because they are large and spread out nicely. Clean up is a breeze and your small, trifold changing pad can be used as an extra layer of support without getting all dirtied up.
4) Babyganics Alcohol-Free Foaming Hand Sanitizer
We (meaning the whole family), use this hand sanitizer after a trip to the grocery store, the mall, or the indoor play place (for sure!). I order in a set of 6 and keep them accessible so we can conveniently ward off viruses and germs. Because really-is there anything worse than having sick babies?
5) Johnson & Johnson Brand Safe Travels Portable First Aid Kit
I didn't always have this in my diaper bag. Not until my oldest was more mobile and visiting the park became his favorite past-time. The falls, scrapes, and skinned-hands and knees were inevitable. Having this 70 piece mini first aid kit was super helpful.
